The Day Surgery Center at Denton Regional is a joint venture with equity ownership involving area physicians and the hospital. The Day Surgery Center project was developed by Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Inc., a subsidiary of HCA, based in Irving Texas.

Designed both for patient and physician convenience, the Center includes 2 Operating Rooms, 3 Gastrointestinal Suites, as well as pre-op and recovery areas. Surgical care areas will consist of:

• Gastrointestinal surgeries such as colonoscopies and EGD’s
• Gynecological procedures
• Urological procedures
• Same Day Surgery procedures such as ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management and Plastic Surgery

The Center's location on the Denton Regional campus offers patients and physicians the opportunity to access all the more complex services of a full service hospital and the convenience of out patient services.

Patients will appreciate the ability to register at the Center, as well having any necessary blood drawn at that time. In addition, patients at the Day Surgery Center will benefit from seamless services offered at the hospital such as laboratory tests, radiology and pathology. In addition, patients can be confident in the knowledge that a fully staffed Intensive Care Unit is only steps away.
